volunteer opportunities
cat caretakersAll of our resident cats have medical and/or behavioral issues. Dr. Amy feeds and medicates the cats daily, but volunteers are needed to assist with cleaning (e.g. washing dishes and litter boxes), laundry, sweeping/mopping the floors, etc. Most of the work is done in the mornings (as the cats particularly love to make messes overnight!), which is when volunteers will be scheduled. Shifts will last approximately two hours, longer if additional projects are undertaken.
As the saying goes, time spent with cats is never wasted. If you would like to spend some time with our cats, and with Dr. Amy—and don't mind working hard and getting your hands dirty!—please contact us. |
customer service personnelOur current programs (e.g. wellness clinics) are staffed by employees and established volunteers. However, we may be recruiting new volunteers to assist with charitable programs to be run through Homer's Fund in the future.
If you enjoy interacting with people and would like to contribute your enthusiasm and passion for cats to a good cause, please contact us. Also, if you have ideas/suggestions to improve Nine Lives Cat Center, we would love to hear from you. Please help us to make a difference in our cat community! |
To add your name to our volunteer list, or to request further information, please call, text, or e-mail us (details on our contact page). We will get back to you as soon as we are able. Thank you very much!
